Body oil is meant to replace a body lotion, providing lasting hydration from neck to toes. With olive olive, sunflower, and shea butter base, our Hinoki Body Oil is perfect for all-over softening and hydration.

Let that oil stay! You’ll want to keep this on your body to deeply hydrate any chapped or dry skin and to receive all the benefits of this skin-softening oil. Apply daily and generously after bathing from neck to toes. Do not rinse off.

Whether you are dealing with a topical skincare product or culinary olive oil, when oils start to age, they oxidize and can feel greasy and heavy. We formulate all our products using this harvest year’s olive oil (the same blend as in the black bottle) and we produce in smaller batches multiple times a year to ensure that you are getting fresh, potent, high-performing products. In the case of our Hinoki Body Oil, you will notice that your skin just drinks this right up without any lingering greasy or heavy feeling. You can apply right after showering to damp skin, or any time of day to dry skin.

Our extra virgin olive oil is a key ingredient for its antioxidant-rich, hydrating, healing properties. Olive oil by itself can be pore-clogging or too heavy for most. This is why we formulate our Hinoki Body Oil (and all of our topical skincare products) with a balanced amount of more lightweight oils like sunflower, plant-based squalane, and sea buckthorn. The overall result is a non-comedogenic formula that will not be pore-clogging. If you are concerned or have very sensitive skin, we recommend patch testing a small amount first before a full application.
