THE SCENT OF HINOKI

Beloved in Japan, Hinoki is an evergreen tree in the cyprus family. The scent is beguiling and invigorating all at once. Image a morning soak in an aged cedar tub outdoors, the aromatic steam wafting into the evergreen-scented air of a mossy forest.

Love the scent
Hinoki is my favorite scent and I’m thrilled to have this travel size roller in my bag at all times. After using the WV hinoki body wash, I roll the oil on my neck and wrists and the amazing scent gets me ready for the day. Highly recommend!

I can’t get enough of this smell
I’m a sucker for well packaged goods, but when they are also useful and smell this good—goodness! I keep this roller in my purse for a quick refresher anytime I need it. I just love the smell so much— it’s earthy, yet floral and smoky. I can’t pin point it, but I also can’t get enough of it. I highly recommend this for a wonderful roller scent anytime you need it.

Smells just like the Hinoki body oil
If you love the Hinoki body oil and want a portable version, this is for you! It smells exactly like WV's body oil. The packaging is stunning, and it would make a lovely gift. It's true as other reviews stated, the scent doesn't linger, but since it's an all-natural fragrance, I'm ok with that. I was a little disappointed that the fragrance isn't slightly different or more complex than the body oil, and it also definitely isn't feminine. Woodsy, earthy, smoky. I won't be wearing this as a perfume and use it more like aromatherapy. If WV releases another fragrance, I'd like to see something with notes that are more feminine. I wouldn't purchase this again since it's it smells too masculine for me, and just plan to use the Hinoki body oil as part of my at-home spa time when I'm in the mood for a relaxing, woodsy experience.

I Forgot I Had It
I wanted to love this, but it's just not what I hoped for. The scent is lovely, but it doesn't stay on for very long. It's great for those with a sensitive nose or those that dont like traditional perfume. It comes in a beautiful package and roller, but unfortunately this was not worth the money for me.

Smells devine when you put it in - then a second later - the scent has disappeared.. I put it on friends at a party wondering if its just my chemistry- but everyone scent left their in a heart beat !! Pity
