Sulfate and Paraben-Free
Sulfates and Parabens are important ingredients to avoid in your hair care products. Sulfates are an aggressive synthetic ingredient used to create a lather but are known to strip hair of its natural oils and can fade color for dyed hair. Parabens are a very strong preservative for water-based products, but studies show their ability to disrupt endocrine and reproductive systems, along with their link to ecological harm, particularly with coral reefs.
Why do companies still use them? Because they are effective at their cosmetic roles and very cheap to use. We don't believe in short-sighted decisions or cutting corners in our formulations. We have put a lot of care into this haircare line to create products we felt were missing from the market, products we wanted to use for ourselves.
